Description

LalBrew New England is a dry ale yeast from Lallemand, selected for the fruit-forward ester profile of East Coast beer styles.

It produces tropical and fruity esters, especially stone fruit such as peach. Through its β-glucosidase enzyme it promotes hop biotransformation and accentuates hop flavour and aroma.

Use in the recipe:

  • Fruity ester profile with stone-fruit notes
  • Supports hop biotransformation in dry-hopped beers
  • Medium to high attenuation

Recommended styles:

  • New England IPA
  • New England Pale Ale
  • English IPA
  • Extra Special Bitter
  • Irish Red Ale
  • Sweet Stout

Pitching rate: 100–200 g/hL.
