BEST Rye Malt is a malted rye from Bestmalz that gives beer structure, a soft, velvety mouthfeel and complexity.
Its aroma is strongly reminiscent of bread. Rye has no husk and contains a high level of gums (pentosans), so a high share of the grist can cause lautering problems. Thanks to its high enzyme activity it is also used for rye whiskey.
