Bestmalz BEST Black Malt

BEST Black Malt is a roasted malt from Bestmalz, roasted more intensively than BEST Chocolate, for very dark to black beers with a pleasant roast character.

Depending on the dose it brings notes of dark chocolate and mild to strong coffee. The gentle roasting process avoids astringent, harsh bitterness, and the beer foam stays light.

Use in the recipe:

• Adds deep colour, also for colour adjustment in any beer
• Contributes dark chocolate and coffee notes
• Keeps the foam light
