Bestmalz BEST Acidulated Malt

BEST Acidulated is a functional malt from Bestmalz used to lower the mash pH when the brewing water is not ideal.

A lower mash pH increases enzyme activity, which improves extract yield and flavour stability. The wort comes out lighter in colour and the beer tastes more balanced. Wort and beer pH usually do not drop, because better conversion also produces more buffering substances.
